Over the weekend some of the minis section were lucky enough to take part in the Guard of honour responsibilities at the Bath v Harlequins match on Saturday. It was great to see Keynsham being well represented by the players in their new strip. Also performing some of the best flag waving ever seen!
On Sunday we welcomed Chew Valley and Combe Down rugby clubs. Who brought in excess of 150 players and some fantastic rugby with them. All teams were very closely matched which provided some very enjoyable rugby! Well done to all!

Presidents XV v Trust PA Vets
This Friday we officially turn on the new floodlights on two of the bottom pitches. This is a huge milestone for the club and one will allow us to have even greater numbers of youngsters training during the week as well as allow the club to host more midweek matches. Having 3 pitches with floodlights open ups great opportunities for the club and we would like to thank everyone who has helped make it a reality. To help us celebrate the floodlights being turned on the Presidents XV will be taking on the Trust PA Vets. The official turn on of the lights is at 7.15pm with the game following. The teams have been kept top secret but the game definitely won't disappoint with a mixture current and legend (old) players taking the pitch. The game kicks off at 7.30pm with food and drink available, the bar staying open until late! Come down and enjoy some friday night lights!! Bristol United have named a side with a blend of professional players and Combination representatives ahead of Wednesday’s Ashton Gate clash with UK Armed Forces. Included in the starting line up is Keynsham 1st XV captain Jack Weston who will be wearing the 8 shirt. More information about the game and where you can get tickets can be found at the link below:
