Merry Christmas to all our players, coaches, volunteers, members , supporters and sponsors. May your day be filled with love, laughter and cheer.
Boxing Day sees the hotly contested Overs v Unders memorial match, this is followed by the usual bar and feast in the clubhouse. The Overs took the spoils last year and will be looking to repeat it this year. The game will kick off at 11.30am with players encouraged to arrive by 11am. Bill our mighty chef is creating TWO curries, one is entitled meek and mild the other is called oh crikey!
The Bar will be open from 11am and will be closing at 6pm. Come down and enjoy the festivities!
As we approach the halfway mark of the season I am pleased to say that the 1st team are doing very well in their new league. As expected the league is proving to be extremely tough and Keynsham have won 5 out of their 6 wins by 5 points or less. What is really pleasing is that the team has regularly fielded at least 12 home produced players who have worked their way through the Minis, Juniors and Colts, we must be doing something right !
The new Floodlights are proving very popular, so much so that some people are reluctant to train under the old lights !
