www.keynshamrugby.co.uk/bookingsystem Members you have hopefully had news about the AGM from team managers, if you haven't here is everything you need to know.....
Keynsham Rugby Club have teamed up with FDC Law to offer a 10% discount for all members of the club, upon providing proof of membership. The discount will apply to all legal fees up to £1,500 (with a maximum discount of £150) and will be applicable across all departments.
Jonathan Wood of FDC Law has said: “We are pleased to be working with local clubs in the area. Having enjoyed rugby throughout my life, I am pleased that we can give something back to the local community by offering a discount to Keynsham Rugby Club members. We are looking forward to working together in the future.” Craig Wetton, the Chairman of Keynsham RFC has said: “Keynsham Rugby Football Club are delighted to continue their partnership with FDC Law and on behalf of the Club I would like to thank them for their support through sponsorship and provision of benefits to our members.” FDC Law have supported the Keynsham RFC over a number of years and it is great to further the relationship between two parties to benefit club members. Thank you to FDC for their continued support. For more information from FDC Law, contact them at 0117 986 9141 (Keynsham) or 01761 417 575 (Midsomer Norton). Great News! The fact-finding mission “to see if the shirt is something the members would like to support” has only been running a few days and it’s clear that we already have enough interest to put an order in! So, with this in mind, the definitive process for ordering is now detailed below: 1) Contact Details Email the Judge via chrisgover4@gmail.com -, confirming the exact number of tee shirts you would like (with sizes) - by close of play Friday 26th June. Please note orders by email only! (not via WhatsApp/Facebook etc.) 2) Payment Please make the appropriate payment via electronic transfer using the following bank details. (Please ensure your surname is in the reference field, to enable payments to be identified). Bank: First Direct Sort Code: 40-47-64 Account Number: 85270502 Account Name: C J Gover The prices are detailed again, as below:
3) Timescales Delivery timescales are estimated 3 to 4 weeks after the order is placed and paid for. 4) Sizes The sizes, as provided by the manufacturer, are detailed below: Please make best efforts to order the correct size(s).
This might sound a very obvious statement, but this is a non-standard bespoke kit order and there is neither a ‘returns policy’ or a ‘refunds policy’. Order incorrect sizes at your peril!! In a similar vein to a number of other local clubs, Keynsham RFC have teamed up with kit supplier VX3 to design a tee shirt in the club colours with a percentage of revenue going to support the NHS.
At this stage, nothing has been produced and the club is currently on a fact-finding mission to see if the shirt is something the members would like to support. As with all kit orders, there is always a ‘minimum number’ requirement, so if we don’t reach that threshold, then we simply will not take this project any further forward. However, it might be worth bearing in mind that both Dings Crusaders and Chipping Sodbury managed to sell sufficient numbers of their respective club’s tee shirts to raise over £1,000 (each!) from the sale of their tee shirts, to be donated to the NHS!! 😊 The standard costs are below (with £7.50 from each T-Shirt will be donated directly to the NHS.)
So in order for us to gauge the level of initial interest, if you’d like to be part of this important Club fundraising project for a very worthy cause, then please contact the Judge* via chrisgover4@gmail.com, - by Friday 19th June - to register ‘your interest’ (at the same time confirming the number of tee shirts you would like if the project goes ahead). (If we hit the minimum number requirement, then further communications will follow, confirming specific order details and payment arrangements). (* For those Club Members who are planning to go on the next main Club Tour, failure to purchase one of these tee shirts will result in a fine of £26.00!!) Saturdays rearranged game against Chew Valley will take place at Lockleaze Sports Centre. Please note there will still be an entry fee to watch the game. Drinks and food will be available back at the club after the game. Come over to Lockleaze and support the boys!
